Branded beanies — Serbia
Custom-knitted beanies for Kopaonik, Zlatibor and Stara Planina winter brands. Wool, acrylic and recycled yarn, woven patch and embroidery, runs from 50 units, 8–14 working days from Belgrade.
Why a branded beanie earns its place in Serbian winter plans
A beanie is the highest-utility winter promo item in Serbia — Kopaonik, Zlatibor, Stara Planina, Tornik, Divčibare, Rtanj. The ski season runs from late November to mid-April, and Belgrade offices on a winter take the team to Kopaonik or Tornik for the company day. A 70-gram acrylic beanie with a woven label is the default corporate ski-weekend gift; a 50-gram promotional beanie in a stock colour is the budget-friendly event giveaway. A wool blend is the premium format for partner gifting.
The Serbian ski-club set uses the beanie as a member uniform piece — Kopaonik Ski Club, Tornik Ski Club, Zlatibor Mountain Society, Stara Planina Alpine — running 200–500 unit annual orders with a club crest and season-year patch.
Yarns and construction
Three yarn formats cover most orders. (1) 100% acrylic, 70 g weight, single-layer knit — the default corporate promo beanie. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, holds its shape through 40+ wears, machine-washable. (2) Wool-acrylic blend (50/50 or 70/30), 80–95 g weight, double-layer knit — the premium partner-gift and ski-club format, naturally warm at –10 °C. (3) Recycled yarn (rPET or recycled wool) at 75 g, single-layer — the ESG-clearing option with GRS transactional certificate.
Cuff formats: short-roll 5 cm cuff (the default), deep-turn 10 cm cuff (for ski-club and partner gift), fisherman/short cuff (clean look, no roll). We produce in a single piece on a circular knitting machine; for logos we add a woven or leather patch at the front-centre.
Decoration methods
Woven patch (50 × 30 mm or 70 × 40 mm) on the front-centre of the cuff is the cleanest finish — the patch is sewn on a flat matrix and reads as a premium mark. Embroidery on the cuff in 1–3 thread colours at 800 stitches is the lower-setup alternative; on a chunky knit the embroidery reads well but adds a hand-stitch detail that some briefs want. Leather logo patch on the cuff is a premium option (cowhide, debossed) for partner gifting.
For full custom-knit beanies (jacquard pattern, logo in the knit) the minimum order is 200 units per design and the lead time stretches to 18–24 working days. This is the ski-club and year-end gifting tier — never for sub-200 promo runs.

Serbia-specific context
The largest buyers are Serbian ski clubs (Kopaonik Ski Club, Tornik Ski Club, Zlatibor Mountain Society) at 200–500 units per season; corporate ski-weekend gifting (Belgrade IT firms, Niš industrial employers, Čačak manufacturing) at 50–200 units per winter; Serbian outdoor brands (Lone Wolf, Planinar, Outventure) at 300–500 units per season for in-store resale; partner gifting by telcos and banks (Telekom Srbija, A1, Banca Intesa) at 100–300 units per winter. The Zlatibor hotel cluster (Mona, Buket, Tornik) orders 50–150 units per property per winter for guest welcome kits.
Frequently asked questions
What yarn weight is right for a Kopaonik corporate ski-weekend beanie?
Wool-acrylic 50/50 at 80–90 g with a deep-turn 10 cm cuff. Naturally warm at the –10 °C average January temperature on Kopaonik, and the cuff holds a woven patch cleanly.
Can you match a brand-book Pantone on a chunky knit beanie?
Yarn dyeing runs at 200 units per Pantone — the mill setup fee is amortised across the run. Below 200 we steer clients to a stock colour (charcoal, black, navy, olive, oatmeal) and add a woven patch in the brand Pantone.
What is the smallest run for a custom jacquard knit beanie?
200 units minimum for jacquard knitting — the mill setup is significant. Below 200, the standard single-layer knit with a woven patch is the practical option.
Are recycled yarn beanies durable enough for daily ski wear?
Yes — recycled PET at 75 g holds shape through 40+ wears and machine washes, comparable to standard acrylic. GRS transactional certificate supplied on request.
What is the standard beanie sizing for Serbian ski clubs?
One-size adult fits 95% of Serbian men and women. Youth sizing (52–54 cm head circumference) is available at +RSD 95 per unit for 100+ unit orders.
Can the beanie have a pom-pom on top?
Yes — yarn pom-pom in a matching or accent colour at +RSD 65 per unit. Genuine fur pom-pom (raccoon or fox) is a premium option at +RSD 480, but most Serbian buyers prefer synthetic for ethical reasons.
