How Serbian marketing agencies use branded t-shirts
Belgrade is the regional hub for advertising and creative services in the Western Balkans. Agencies in the scene — McCann Belgrade, Ovation BBDO, CommIT Smart, Propaganda Plus, New Moment New Ideas — use branded t-shirts for client deliverables, agency team merch, conference swag and creative-festival booths. A t-shirt is the most flexible piece of apparel a creative team can produce: it works as a uniform item, a campaign giveaway and a portfolio sample, all from the same blank garment.
Client deliverables are the major use: an agency gives a branded tee as part of a pitch-deck leave-behind, a campaign launch kit, or a closing gift at the end of a multi-month engagement. Agency team merch is the second major use — internal all-hands, creative-festival booths (Golden Drum, Effie Serbia, BalCannes), and Friday socials. Conference swag is the third — the SoMo Borac, the Webfest and the regional IAB Serbia events where the agency hosts a booth.
Fabrics with a streetwear feel
For agency team merch we default to a 180 gsm 100% combed cotton with a 1×1 rib crew neck, in stock black, charcoal and off-white. The combed-cotton hand-feel works well for the agency wardrobe and is more premium than the ringspun basics. For campaign giveaways and creative-festival swag we step up to a 200 gsm heavyweight cotton with a slightly relaxed streetwear cut — the garment holds shape even after a full day of wear at a booth.
Both weights are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Standard colourways are black, charcoal, off-white and the brand-colour match on request. Agency palette is the widest of any sector we serve — bold primaries, neon accents and full-bleed photographic prints are all in scope, and we dye-lot to Pantone Coated references for runs above 200 units.
DTF and screen print for full-colour agency identity
DTF (direct-to-film) is the workhorse for agency merch. Full-colour agency logos, photographic campaign prints, gradient illustrations and event-specific wordmarks print cleanly on DTF, with no per-colour setup fee. DTF is the right call for short runs (30–200 pieces) and for one-off campaign deliverables. The print sits flat against the fabric and survives regular washing without cracking.
Screen print is the right call for one or two spot-colour logos on a tee — for example a single-colour white logo on a black tee, or a tonal-on-tonal decoration for the agency team. Plastisol ink on cotton at 180 gsm holds detail at 60 cm viewing and survives the laundering cycle. Plastisol is reserved for very large volumes above 500 units where the per-unit setup amortises.
Client deliverables, agency team merch and conference swag
Client deliverables are individually packed — a tee is folded into a translucent glassine bag with a printed belly band listing the campaign name and the client logo, then placed inside a rigid box with a satin ribbon. This presentation is the right format for pitch-deck leave-behinds, campaign launch kits and end-of-engagement closing gifts.
Agency team merch and conference swag are packed flat — 25 per master carton — so a logistics lead can ship directly to a venue loading dock. For creative-festival booths (Golden Drum in Portorož, BalCannes in Sarajevo, the IAB Serbia MIXX conference in Belgrade) we usually pack 200–500 tees plus a few hundred buffer units for booth visitors. Branded tote bags and notebooks pair well with the tee for the full booth giveaway set.
Belgrade venues for agency events
Agency award nights and client presentations take place at Hotel Moskva (the heritage venue for the older shops) and Crowne Plaza Belgrade (the convention tier). Creative-festival booths at the IAB Serbia MIXX conference usually set up at the Hyatt Regency Belgrade or the Sava Centar. Internal agency all-hands happen at the agency office — most of the larger shops are clustered around the Vračar and Savski Venac neighbourhoods — and team socials tend to be at Mikser House, the Drugstore and the river-raft venues along the Sava.
We size run quantities to the venue headcount and ship to the loading dock with a printed manifest. For multi-event deliverables we pack by client — a teis for the pitch-deck leave-behind goes in a separate carton from the team merch, so the account lead can hand out the right carton at the right meeting.
Runs, lead times and budgets
MOQ is 30 units for stock colourways and 50 units for custom dye-lot orders. Lead time is 10–14 business days after artwork approval, depending on DTF or screen-print setup. A 5-business-day rush is available for stock colours with a rush premium. Custom dye-lots cannot be rushed.
Pricing is in RSD per unit. Ballpark figures for 2026: combed-cotton tee printed in a single colour sits in the four-figure RSD range per unit, full-colour DTF or heavyweight cotton tier runs higher. Final pricing depends on artwork, run size, decoration method and delivery window. We confirm pricing in writing before production starts.
Frequently asked questions
Which t-shirt fabric suits agency staff best?
A 180 gsm 100% combed cotton for agency team merch, stepping up to a 200 gsm heavyweight cotton for campaign giveaways and creative-festival booths. Both weights are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. The heavier weight holds shape across a full booth day; the lighter weight is more comfortable under a jacket.
Can you print bold agency logos?
Yes — DTF reproduces full-colour agency logos, photographic campaign prints and gradient illustrations cleanly, with no per-colour setup fee. Screen print is the right call for one or two spot-colour logos. Agency palette is the widest of any sector we serve, and we dye-lot to Pantone Coated references for runs above 200 units.
Are the t-shirts OEKO-TEX certified?
Yes — every t-shirt we supply is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which matters for staff skin contact during long creative-festival booths and for any campaign giveaway where the garments go to external clients or consumers.
What is the rush window for a 50-piece emergency?
5 business days for stock colours with a rush premium. Custom dye-lots cannot be rushed because the dyeing stage alone takes 5–7 business days. Call by Wednesday for a Monday ship-out to a Belgrade loading dock.
Do you supply crew kits with multiple items?
Yes — agency booth kits combine a tee with a tote bag, a notebook and a pen, packed into a recycled card kit-box. We also run matching t-shirts, polos, hoodies and caps in the same fabric and colour for full creative-festival packs.
Can you print a large back graphic?
Yes — DTF on the back reproduces large graphics cleanly and is the right call for short runs because there is no setup cost. Screen print is cheaper per unit on runs above 300 units, especially when the back graphic is one or two spot colours.
Is Corp-Merch a partner or official supplier of any Serbian marketing agency?
No. Corp-Merch is an independent corporate-merch producer. We are not a partner, sponsor or official supplier of McCann Belgrade, Ovation BBDO, CommIT Smart, Propaganda Plus, New Moment New Ideas or any other Serbian marketing agency.
